For B2B product & equipment brands
Growth marketing for product and equipment brands whose buyers arrive already informed.
By the time a facilities director or a purchasing committee reaches out to a manufacturer, they have read spec sheets, run comparisons, and formed an opinion. Everything they used to do that was published by somebody, and our work is to make sure your version of it is the one they can find.
What makes marketing a product brand different
The evaluation happens before you hear from anyone
A buyer pulls dimensions, compliance details, and warranty terms, then lines your product up against the brands they already know by name. Whatever your pages do not answer tends to get answered somewhere else — a forum thread, a distributor listing, or a comparison chart a competitor wrote.
The decision belongs to a committee, not a person
A purchase that has to clear a school board, a facilities budget, or a procurement office passes through people who never visited your site: the one who found you, the one who has to justify the cost, and the one who signs. Material written for a single decision-maker gives your internal champion nothing to forward.
You may not be the one taking the order
Plenty of product brands sell through distributors, reps, and installers rather than direct. The buyer still shows up at your website first for the spec answer and the compliance question, and then the conversation moves to a partner. A site built only to capture direct inquiries treats that handoff as a dead end instead of the point.
Institutional budgets move on their own calendar
Schools, municipalities, and agencies buy when a budget cycle, a board vote, or a grant window allows it, not when a campaign happens to be running. Interest that surfaces before the money exists still counts, but only if you can recognize it and stay in front of it until the timing catches up.
What we do
How we apply this to a product brand
The same six services, weighted very differently than they would be for a local trade. Most of the effort goes into published material that a buyer and a language model can both read, and into knowing which of that material shows up in a sales conversation.
A website built as a specification library, not a brochure
Hand-built static pages carrying the model-by-model detail a buyer is looking for — specifications, compliance and warranty documents, install requirements — organized so an evaluator can compare, and so a champion can send a page to the people who have to approve it.
AI Search Optimization
Put your product category to ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews and the answer comes back assembled from whatever those systems can find and reconcile. We put your specifications into pages and structured data they can read directly, and get the same figures stated consistently across your own site and your partners' listings, so there is one version of your product for them to draw on.
Local SEO & map visibility — the smallest piece here
This is the part of our offer that matters least to a manufacturer, and we would rather say so than sell you a service-area strategy you do not need. What we do here is narrow: an accurate Google Business Profile, business data that matches wherever it appears, and proper coverage of any place a customer can actually walk into, such as a showroom or a service counter.
Paid Search for specification-stage queries
Google Ads pointed at the narrow, technical searches — model numbers, part numbers, the language of a code or standard, and the competitor names people type while comparing. We would rather buy a handful of clicks from someone writing a specification than a wide net of traffic with no procurement behind it.
Paid Social aimed at the roles that specify and approve
LinkedIn job-title and industry targeting, plus Meta campaigns when that is where a given audience actually spends its time, used to put a product line, a case study, or a demo offer in front of the people who influence the decision. It is a supporting channel here rather than a lead faucet, and we will tell you when it is not earning its place. We run the ad accounts; organic posting stays with whoever handles it now.
Conversion & Analytics for a purchase you do not control the timing of
When the sale has to clear approvals outside the building, it is not the thing you can watch week to week. What you can watch is the specification download, the quote request, the demo booking, and the referral that reaches a partner — each tied back to the campaign and page that produced it, and reported as what it is.
Proof
Built for a product brand selling into schools
Entry Guard is a classroom-door safety system, partnered with law enforcement and sold to schools. Its buyer is an administrator or a safety committee weighing a decision that has to survive a board meeting, so the site is built to explain the product plainly and to be forwarded, not just browsed. The same reasoning shapes a very different engagement: Viper Mowers, a manufacturer's resource hub for a commercial zero-turn lineup, where maintenance guides, troubleshooting, and spec-honest comparisons against brands like John Deere and Toro carry weight a product brochure never would. Two unrelated products, one principle — publish the material the buyer was going to go looking for anyway.
